This data protection declaration describes the collection and use of personal data when visiting and using the services offered by India. It also applies to additional offers from India (e.g. purchases of goods or vouchers with India, sweepstakes or competitions). It is usually possible to use our website www.india.de without providing any personal data. Insofar as personal data is collected on our website, this is always done on a voluntary basis as far as possible. On our website, personal data (e.g. name, address or e-mail addresses) are only collected and processed insofar as this is necessary in order to be able to provide you as a customer with information and products. The data that your browser transmits to us is automatically saved in the server statistics.

These are:

- browser type / version
- the operating system used
- Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
- host name of the accessing computer (IP address)
- time of the server request

 

As a rule, we cannot assign this data to specific persons. This data will not be merged with other data sources.

 

Terms used:

“Personal data” is all information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter “data subject”); A natural person is regarded as identifiable who can be identified directly or indirectly, in particular by means of assignment to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier (e.g. cookie) or one or more special features, which express the physical, physiological, genetic, psychological, economic, cultural or social identity of this natural person.

“Processing” is any process carried out with or without the aid of automated processes or any such series of processes in connection with personal data. The term is broad and encompasses practically every handling of data.

“Responsible person” is the natural or legal person, authority, institution or other body that alone or jointly with others decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data.

 

Relevant legal bases:

In accordance with Art. 13 GDPR, we will inform you of the legal basis for our data processing. We will inform you as soon as the changes require your cooperation (e.g. consent) or other individual notification.

 

We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) can have security gaps. A complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible. We hereby expressly object to the use of the contact data published in the context of the imprint obligation by third parties to send advertising and information materials that have not been expressly requested. We expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, e.g. through spam emails.

 

Cooperation with contract processors and third parties :

Transmission to third countries:

We use services of the US internet network facebook (facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA) for our platform. On the one hand, we have installed the Facebook “like button” (like link, a so-called plug-in). This means that we have implemented the “Like” button on our website using a program code made available by Facebook. The plug-ins can be recognized by one of the Facebook logos (white circle with black "f").
